A homeopathic remedy given that is most similar to a person’s unique presentation activates a dynamic healing response specific to that person and their overall health. Autumn’s holistic or constitutional homeopathy is directed at a whole person and their underlying imbalance, not any specific symptom or diagnosis.

The goal is to establish or restore optimal health, reducing susceptibility over time for preventive support and improved quality of life.

Homeopathy is a great a complement to existing primary care and many people discover great results after trying other modalities with minimal success. Autumn is a certified classical homeopath offering homeopathic care – by appointment only – at her Portland, Oregon office.

A classical homeopath or classical homeopathy refers to using only one homeopathic remedy for a person, as a most effective approach outlined by homeopathy founder Dr. Samuel Hahnemann.

This homeopathic care is designed to complement and work alongside your existing primary care.

New research in Nanoparticles shows that homeopathic remedies which are greatly diluted, still exist on a physical level comparative to a typical virus.

A remedy may be called “homeopathic” but that does not mean it will produce a homeopathic affect, it merely indicates that a remedy was made by a progression of dilution and successions outlined by homeopathic potency standards.

Homeopathy is only effective when used according to its principles and an appropriate remedy is given. This is why there are so many discrepancies in homeopathic studies, in many cases the Law of Similars was not properly executed, meaning a potentised remedy was given that was not homeopathic to the person. What produces a homeopathic response is based on the unique similarity of the remedy to the person taking it.

You may have noticed that “homeopathic” or potentised remedies are more commonly available. Self-care can work well for acutes, however successful chronic or constitutional care requires careful observation, objectivity, proper assessment of healing processes, and understanding when appropriate changes in remedy dosage and potency are needed for continued improvement.

A Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH) is different than a Homeopathic Doctor or Medical Doctor. A licensed doctor can provide wellness exams, order labs and write prescriptions, whereas a Certified Classical Homeopath is most often not additionally licensed to practice medicine. However, a Certified Classical Homeopath is considered an expert in homeopathic care and can coordinate care with your licensed care provider.

A Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH) is different than a Naturopathic Doctor (ND). While a Naturopath may or may not use homeopathy in their practice or may even choose to specialize in homeopathy; they are also a licensed doctor and can offer primary care. However, a Homeopath specializes in homeopathy, and may or may not have a naturopathic, medical, or other type of license to provide primary care.

A well-educated and experienced homeopath can more successfully lead and maintain your homeopathic care with a strong focus on healing the underlying imbalance that caused the challenges you seek care for. The better the focus on healing from the inside out over time, the more lasting the results, even to the point of complete recovery in many cases. To achieve this, it is important to work with a Homeopath with a proper foundation in classical homeopathic education.
